Privacy & your data

Your meetings stay yours. Here's exactly where everything lives.

  • Audio stays on your laptop as .wav files in the folder you chose. A compressed Opus copy is kept for playback; raw chunk WAVs are deleted after the transcript is finalized.
  • Transcripts are produced on-device and saved as markdown in the same place. Summaries also save there; they're the one step that may use a cloud provider if you've configured one.
  • API keys live in an encrypted vault on your disk — unlocked automatically on a trusted personal machine, or behind a passphrase you set if you chose to encrypt. Either way, we can't read them.

Want zero outbound network? Transcription and diarization are already local. Pair them with a local AI server (LM Studio / Ollama) for summaries, or skip summaries and copy-paste into your own chat.

Deleting a meeting

  1. Open the meeting's action menu.
  2. Select Delete recording.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

This wipes the audio, transcripts, summary, notes, and search index for that session.
