Appearance, themes, and text size
Daisy ships light and dark themes and follows your operating system by default. Everything here lives in Settings → Display.
Light, dark, or match system
Under Appearance, pick one of three cards:
- Light — warm cream paper.
- Dark — near-black surfaces, same marigold accent.
- Match system (default) — follows your OS appearance and changes with it, including when your system switches on a schedule.
The choice applies immediately across the whole app, including the floating mini-window.
Text size
Text size zooms the entire interface. You can also use the keyboard anywhere in the app:
- Ctrl/Cmd + — larger
- Ctrl/Cmd − — smaller
- Ctrl/Cmd 0 — back to 100%
The percentage stays in sync no matter which way you change it.
Theme files (optional)
Theme file loads your own CSS on top of the light or dark theme.
The dropdown lists whatever is in your profile's css/ folder, plus
None — the default.
Daisy writes a default.css there with a commented reference of every
design token, so the quickest way to start is to copy it, edit the
copy, and pick it from the dropdown. If a theme file fails to load,
Daisy says so and falls back to the built-in look.
