Deleting a meeting
You can permanently delete a meeting and everything Daisy stored for it. This is the right choice when you want a meeting gone entirely.
Delete a meeting
- Open the meeting you want to remove.
- Open the Action menu.
- Select Delete recording….
- Type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete.
This permanently removes the audio, transcript, summary, notes, and tags for that meeting.
Deleting just the in-call chat
If you only want to clear the meeting's in-call chat and keep everything else, use Action → Delete chat… instead. The recording, transcript, and summary are kept.
Deleting only the tail of a recording
If the recorder was left running after the meeting ended, you don't have to delete the whole thing. Right-click the transcript line where the meeting should end and choose Delete from here — that line and everything before it is kept. See Working with the transcript for that and for splitting a run-on recording into two meetings.
Keeping the text but removing the audio
If you only want to free up disk space and keep the transcript, summary, and notes, don't delete the meeting. Instead, clear the raw audio from Settings → Recordings. See Managing recordings and storage for the steps.
