Where it all lives
On your computer or iPhone. Recording, captions, transcription and speaker labels all happen right there, and the audio stays put. Summaries run on your device too when the hardware's up to it. Otherwise you pick a local AI server or your own cloud key, and with a cloud key the transcript text goes to that provider. The nerdy details.
Questions
How fast are the captions?⌄
Fast enough to catch your name. Words show up as people talk and tidy themselves up a moment later.
Does it work on Zoom? In a real room?⌄
Both. On your computer, Daisy catches any call app (Teams, Zoom, Meet, Webex) plus the room through your mic. On iPhone, it hears whatever its mic hears: people around the table, or a call playing on the laptop next to it.
Can I tell who said what?⌄
During the meeting, captions keep your voice apart from everyone else's. Names land when it ends, and once you name a voice, Daisy remembers it next time.
Will anyone know?⌄
No bot joins and nothing pops up in the meeting. Recording laws vary, and many places need everyone's okay, so give people a heads-up before you hit record.
Where does it all go?⌄
It stays on your device, searchable by word, person or tag, for the day you need to know what you agreed to.
