What's said in session stays in session.
Daisy records and transcribes on your own computer or iPhone. No bot in the room, and no cloud service holds your sessions.

What stays on your device
Recording, transcription and speaker labels run on your computer or iPhone, and the audio stays there. Summaries run on your device too when the hardware supports it. Otherwise you pick a local AI server or your own cloud key, and with a cloud key the transcript text goes to that provider. How Daisy handles your data.
Questions
Where do session recordings live?⌄
On your own device. On a computer, turn on disk encryption (FileVault on a Mac, BitLocker on Windows) to protect the files. On iPhone, Daisy keeps recordings encrypted inside the app and can require Face ID.
Can I record video sessions?⌄
Yes, on your computer. Daisy records the audio your computer plays plus your microphone, so it works with any video app. The iPhone app records what its microphone hears in the room.
How do I handle client consent?⌄
Daisy asks you to confirm consent before your first recording. Recording laws and professional rules differ by place, so get your client's consent before you record.
Can Daisy help with progress notes?⌄
Daisy writes a summary of the session to work from. It runs on your device when the hardware supports it, or through a local AI server or your own cloud key. On a computer you can also copy the transcript with a ready-made prompt.
Can I delete a session?⌄
Yes. On your computer, deleting a meeting removes its audio, transcript, summary and notes.
